This design is making me want to get involved with stained glass!  It was drawn on SketchbookPro, using my Wacom tablet and mildly altered in Photoshop.

EggBellies in Ann Arbor, MI, has a poster!

My dear amiga, Trinity, had me design a poster for her (and a menu, but that is not very artistic) for her pop-up restaurant which goes down every Wednesday in Ann Arbor, MI (Kerrytown).  My friends support me and I support them.  CHEERS!

THREE YEARS RUNNING!!!

Much thanks, love and appreciation to Alligator Mike (& family) and my T-Bois family in Louisiana.  I have been blessed to be the poster designer for this special festival for 3 years.  I originally met Mike, Mark and Damien at Electric Forest, years back.  They camped next to us in the VIP camping (which a good friend from Sonoma Co. days, whom worked for a major sponsor, appropriated for me and our homegirl, Leah).  Soon we were drinking coffee and talking and they mention their festival and I mention being an illustrator and that is how I got in on the T-Bois train.  Serendipity plays a good part in whom I work with.

First year's poster I worked on, with a digital assist from Nate Hatt (natehatt.com)...
Second year's Wonderland-inspired fare.  Most of the festival revelers are friends of mine from over the years.  My brother, Russ Swaney, helped with digitally cleaning it up.
Last year's kaiju bluesman.  I love his VW Bug necklace.  Cecelia (on his forearm) is Alligator Mike's daughter's name (whom was born in the year).  All in all, good fun!

Some new ink drawings from one of my books and the secret to happiness (results not guaranteed)...

Part of me wished I hadn't colored this one, but hey, I don't have ability to suck ink from paper, so I tried to make this couple as fun and balanced as possible.
A collaborative drawing I made with, my homeboy, Fin.  I recently purchased a large quantity of colored ballpoint pens.  I love the texture they create.
A coastal face, sun and wind swept, pontificating upon the cycles of lives....
Abstract abstract abstract!!!  Looking at this is working the problemsolving area of yr brain.
 #lovematters #inkislove
And finally, we have quite a looker, here, looking at you!  His face is a bit twisted, but listed as lyrical.  Nothingness, blistered with black ink and empirical.
